At Amada, our home-care aides help seniors with activities of daily living such as bathing, eating, and providing medication reminders so that they can remain living in their homes. However, to us, the highest quality of senior care can only be provided if caregivers take the time to bond with their clients and truly understand their unique needs and desires. That way, we can help them with other activities that they have always enjoyed but may no longer be able to do on their own, like baking Mary’s grandson’s favorite cookies, or helping Steven maintain his beloved flower garden. Of course, it is essential that we assist with the ADLs that keep our clients safe and comfortable, but we are determined to do more than that for them. We want to enrich their lives and help them thrive.
