The circumstances around Victoria Martens’ death are shocking


The story of Victoria Martens’ brutal murder is nothing short of a complete tragedy. The 10-year-old girl was killed, dismembered and set on fire in August 2016. Her mother, Michelle Martens, her mother’s boyfriend, Fabian Gonzalez and his cousin, Jessica Kelley, were all arrested and charged in connection with the murder. For over a year, investigators used Martens’ version of events on the night of her daughter’s death before additional evidence showed that Michelle Martens’ gave a false confession.
